The Maze

Well the sun rose on a beaut and sunny Saturday morning and after a top bacon n' eggs brekky, we chucked the four kiddies into the Van 'Fordie' and off we set for a day's outing at the park named 'THE MAZE'. Well you know if i've got the whole bunch of them, then i'll have me hands full, and yes it turned out that way believe me mate.

The Maze is a kiddie fun park which covers 32 acres of Bullsbrook bush out in the middle of no-where, which has Birds, Kangas, Emus and a massive 2500m2 wooden maze as it's main feature. Here are the kiddies giving some poor old sod of a kanga, a little pat on the back. Fair dinkum i think they woke him up, but with the excitement meter getting high it was of to see the birds.

Well about what I expected, between you and me I think me old mans bird avery in the back yard at Brighton Ave was bigger then this. But the birdies looked happy with themself's.... poor sods.

Then it was time to hit the main attraction..... THE MAZE. Well it was a beaut big maze and with the No1 escape kiddie 'Oscar' locked up in the pram, off we trudged threw this old maze. The Maze is real beaut and after about seven minutes or so we made our way back to the start! So after a quick drink off we went back into the Maze and after a fair while we made it to the middle (which was the end). In the middle they had a beaut wooden tower which had a turning slide inside which shot you back down real quick. Here is a photo of the tower.

The little nevilles just loved the slide and without doubt it was the highlight of the day out, bugger I could of just taken them to a friggin' slide in a park and saved me bloody moolah.

But the kiddies just loved the slide as you can see Oscar and Jacko coming down, it was a big hit with Oscar as the one thing he loves in his little world is a slide. He has to work his little legs to get up the stairs but once up their theres only one way back down, and he doesn't wait a minute before setting his little nappy covered freckle on his way down.

So after going up and down the slide for about twenty minutes it was time to see the koala bears hang out, but unfortunately they were at their resting time so we could only look up in the trees and hope to see one. Yes you little beauty we caught a gander of one just having a bit of a kip so at least we got to see one.
From their we had a go at a couple of pine tree mazes and a little wooden maze, but that was about it because we had run out of time and had to hit the road. Yes they did have a mini golf which would of been fun but not with four little monsters, wanting to run in different directions with their putters in hand. So yes we did have a beaut time out and believe me the kiddies slept like a log that night.... well okay four little logs!
